In 2018, I had the the opportunity to study abroad in Auckland, New Zealand. I would describe my experience in the following three words: Epiphanic, Empowering. and Epic. Never in my life had I felt so moved by nature. I found joy and solace in the presence of snow dusted mountains, mirrored lakes, lush trees, and colorful sunsets. Undeniably, nature has the power to nurture, calm, and heal. I returned with an enlightened and invigorated spirit, inspired to protect, support, and nourish the Earth and its resources.
